Please be advised that the Justice For All Coalition* along with other community groups** and residents from across Queens and the city will host a press conference on Monday February 18, 2019, at 1:30pm on the NW corner or 12th St and 41st Ave in Long Island City, Queens.
Leaders from our diverse communities and community groups will address Amazon’s decision to abandon their plans for LIC and, in contrast to other local leaders, highlight why this is a victory for our communities. In addition, speakers will discuss their post-Amazon agendas, as they and their groups continue to fight for the interests of local Queens communities and public housing residents.
*The Justice For All Coalition is a grassroots community group who grew from and represents local NYCHA residents in Astoria and LIC, as well as the surrounding community.
