Last week, JFA submitted a letter to Queens Borough President Melinda Katz urging her to stand with the communities of Elmhurst, Jackson Heights and Corona against the proposed spot rezoning at 40-31 82nd Street in Elmhurst. Community members fear the rezoning could cause residential and commercial displacement.
